What's cooking in  2015 at Papy3D?...  -- making of

2015, january 24

While our last two films My Home and In Deep Waters start their careers in festivals, what is cooking at Papy3D?

Child Dream by Christophe Gérard, supported by the CNC, France 2 channel, the Nord-Pas de Calais region and the SACEM, has entered production at the begining of this year. It'll be made in the studio Train-Train in Lille and should be finished by summer 2015.

The Ogre by Laurène Braibant, supported by CNC and the Nord Pas de Calais and Rhône-Alpes regions, the later within the Projects Competition in the last Annecy festival, should enter pre-production in february. It'll be fabricated at Train-Train, in Lille, as well as in Valence and should be finished by the end of 2015.

Franck Dion's new flick, Une tête disparaît, has already got support from the Arte channel and the CNC and the finances gathering is still ongoing. But if all goes well, pre-production should start in mai 2015. Production should run until the begining of 2016.

And a small imp is whispering in our hear that Gilles Cuvelier could well be working on a new project...

Presentation

Papy3D is a production company founded by a fellowship of animation film directors. As they all had experience in directing animation films, they wanted to create a production company which would allow them to have a better control over their work.
