Entering production! -- making of

Two new Papy3D films are entering production this month :

The Ogre by Laurène Braibant, supported by CNC, the Nord Pas de Calais and Rhône-Alpes regions (within the Projects Competition in the last Annecy festival), by the Procirep and the Angoa, is entering production in Valence with the layout and backgrounds drawing. The rest of the production will take place in the Train-Train studio in  Lille, with animation and compositing, until the end of the year. The film should be finished begining of 2016.

Franck Dion's new film, A head vanishes, has already got support from the Arte channel, the CNC, the Procirep and the Angoa. Discussions are underway with the NFB. Production has started in Paris with modeling and will go on in Train-Train until the end of the year, with an end target in february 2016.

Presentation

Papy3D is a production company founded by a fellowship of animation film directors. As they all had experience in directing animation films, they wanted to create a production company which would allow them to have a better control over their work.
